Is Audrey 2 a vampire or an alien? How can levity and the darkest thoughts imaginable coincide to give us hope and also a spooky good time? And most importantly, why aren't we talking about the minutia of vampire life more often? This a great episode for anyone nervous about horror because its fun and silly!

This romp into horror films is an exploration of all the gritty and wonderful parts of scary movies. Often a powerful reflection of our deepest fears and desires, they provide a safe place to dissect heavy themes and feel fear - but also an extremely connective, campy place to laugh and have fun. There is so much to learn and enjoy from the art form 🔪
Each episode will be structured around a sub genre of horror, with two movies from that sub genre serving as examples. As a queer woman, I also have made sure that half the movies discussed were made by women and non-binary directors and writers. Their voices are critical to this expansive look and new perspective on the art form. Join me and my extra special guests as we explore themes, patterns, and perspectives through this unique lens.
